Northland Zone
The Northland Zone is one of 28 geographic zones that cover the country and make up New Zealand Scouts. Our Zone ranges from just north of Wellsford to Cape Reinga.
The Zone Leadership team coordinates with the national body and oversees the activities of the groups within the Zone providing support, training and co-ordination of Zone events.
There are 13 groups within the Northland Zone ranging from Kaiwaka in the south to Doubtless Bay in the north. Each group consists of one or more sections of youth members (Keas to Rovers) with trained leaders, section leaders and an overall group leader. Additionally each group has a committee to provide financial and logistical support. All adults involved are volunteers.
